Every church is invited to the Grand Club to celebrate with our churches that gave over $1,000 to BGMC and/or STL. The cost of lunch is $29 per person (unless your church qualified for Grand Club).

Lance Nelson
National Foster Care Director for COMPACT Family Services
Lance Nelson serves as the National Foster Care Director for COMPACT Family Services, the national affiliate child welfare agency of the Assemblies of God. He is an Ordained Assemblies of God minister as well as an endorsed AG US Missions Chaplain. A graduate of both Nelson University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, he spent 15 years in local church ministry both in both youth ministry and lead pastoring roles. After transitioning to serve at COMPACT in 2015, his work with churches, foster families, and vulnerable children has given him an understanding of the impact that trauma can have on children’s development and behaviors. He is also a practitioner in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a trauma-informed model for serving children from hard places. Lance is passionate about engaging and equipping the church to serve in the fastest growing mission field in America – the family.
